Root [Virgin Mobile/Sprint] Just got the phone yesterday! So many questions.

My review: I just got this phone yesterday, rooted it right away, swapped external SD for internal, now i have 32 GB of storage for EVERYTHING including apps. Plus wifi tether! LTE is underwhelming for LTE, but it could just be my area. I'm not getting the super speeds others are getting, just what's advertised, so I guess I shouldn't complain...

Phone is very snappy with stock kernel. No custom recovery yet, but when kitkat comes out on this phone, it'll be the best budget phone out there. Right now, it's practically a steal.
The smaller screen helps a lot with battery life, and it's not apparently pixelated like most say. You get used to it very fast, and it looks very sharp. The viewing angles are fantastic due to it having an IPS panel, and gorilla glass 2 is thinner so the LCD is closer, helping brightness and colors look great.

The camera is GREAT. Not the sharpest pictures, but they look very colorful and very well lit and balanced exposure. It's also VERY fast, which I didn't expect.

I haven't experienced any throttling when using LTE either. Which I'm VERY happy for. I've used more than the cap, but it's letting me go full speed anyways, YMMV. I love it. Downloading steam games, watching amazon prime streaming, browsing the internet, and playing games off of it. Yay!

I switched from an Evo V (rooted it as soon as I got it since development has been very active since the evo 3D) that i've had for a year, to this, since LTE was turned on in my area (only getting wimax-y speeds though,4-8 down, 2-3 up 80-150ms ping, it's kinda lame.) Anyway, what's the difference between V5 and V6 firmware?

I updated everything when I got the phone activated, because it kinda went ahead and did it on its own... I'm definitely wanting to root, but i've seen some people brick their MSL and IMEI by doing so. My phone is now on V6...

FoxFi doesn't want to work over wifi, but works somewhat over USB with a lack of functionality. I've gone over my 2.5 GB of data but it throttles me only sometimes. It's weird. eHRPD is much faster than old 3G from my evo at least.

Does anyone here know about CM11 development on this phone?

I would do the unbrick method and go back to v5 . There is currently no cm11 development going on at all. There is one guy working on porting cm10 but it isnt even at alpha stage yet. Patience it will come in due time. This is relatively a new phone so there arent too many devs for it.
