Root [Virgin Mobile/Sprint] motochopper FAILED ??

Newbie
I just got my new phone today and activated it.
I tried to follow this guide Root and CWM - EASY guide
1) installed the LG drivers
2) ran moto chopper and got a failed message. the phone rebooted. Tried to run Titanium Backup but says phone is not rooted. So I ran motochopper again, this time getting the following (sorry not sure how to paste this in and keep the formatting)

Code:
[*]
[*] Motochopper: Android root exploit (Windows version)

[*] Tested on the Motorola Razr HD, Razr M, Razr Maxx HD, and Atrix HD.

[*] have the latest USB drivers installed, and that your phone
[*] is connected via USB.

[-] Failure.

Press any key to continue . . .
Any ideas?

Superuser was installed the first time, so trying to install it the second time failed. Normal.

Whether the final "Failure" is due to the Superuser error or not is the question. Uninstall Superuser and see if it still fails at the last step.

uninstalled superuser and still get the Failure message

ok thanks a lot!! - will try this later today if I have time or tomorrow and update this thread with the results. Not having my device rooted gives me the shakes. :)

OK - followed that thread and with some mods to the bat file it worked! YAY! :D

I posted some comments on that thread on the changes I had to make, so hopefully that might help someone else!

Thanks all!
