Hello everyone i found an easy way to root your LG Optimus F3. First you need to goto this website: towelroot(DOT)com
Click on the weird icon thingy and let it download. After that goto the file and install it notice your anti virus will go off but its because it is an exploit that affects the android system so disable your antivirus before u download and install it. Next after you install the apk run it and click make it rain and if your phone reboots the root failed and you may need to use motochopper. So i'm glad i helped in anyway to get your Optimus F3 rooted. For those lazy people i included the file attached in this thread.

Yes, you will need to install a superuser app and also use one of the busybox apps from the playstore to install the busybox binaries. Running either app will let you know if you're not properly rooted or you can download a root-checker app from the playstore as well.

Don't forget to install a custom recovery and make a nandroid backup.

Update: if you receive an update on the sprint network that was released in october DON'T install it because this root method will fail and if you are already rooted you need to have survival mode enabled if you have SuperSU.
