Root [Virgin Mobile/Sprint] No 4g on LG Optimus F3

Nephew has this phone, can't get 4g. He was told it had to do with th SIM card. Virgin Mobile sent a new sim, same problem. Any of you run into this problem. Attached a picture.

It's likely the area your nephew uses his phone. In my part of the Los Angeles metro area (Inland Empire), I can't get 4G at home. Move just a few miles, and I get 4G. Quite hilly out here, so it depends. I'm giving it some time to see if Sprint improves network coverage, as I have a few hundred $ on my VM account. Otherwise I'm moving to either MetroPCS or Verizon prepaid. I have been getting better reception overall the last few days.

Thanks. I think this another issue. He and I both have the same carrier so we should both get 4g. He was told by Virgin Mobile the problem had to do with a SIM card. He even has a SIM related error on his screen. Replacement SIM card, same problem. Will try to share picture error with SIM again
