Root [Virgin Mobile/Sprint] ROM ideas...

Some ideas for an amazing ROM:
-The LG camera has some good features, and seems faster than the Nexus camera. Keep it, but make it silent. I know it's easy to do, but when I did it, I lost use of my ringtones besides the default LG ringtone? Only think the LG camera misses besides silence is the ability to take photos with the volume keys.

-A lockscreen similar to iOS would be fantastic, and that's asking for a lot because I don't know if it's possible to port lock screens, but one with a swipe up camera and a flashight would be SUPER handy.

-Pre-swapped storage and link2SD already included??

Maybe somehow when we get custom recovery, and unlocked bootloader if ever, we can dream bigger about this amazing device. CM will be a great step ahead. Looking forward to kitkat.

Wanam Xposed.

If you use swipe on your lockscreen, you can put the camera on the lock screen. And you can install an app (I think it's one of the Xposed modules) that will let you use one of the volume keys as a flashlight switch when the lockscreen is on.
 
That's really cool! I didn't know about that. But I also like having some form of locking my phone. Swipe has no password or pattern. If it did, I'd use it. Unless there is an option to mod for it somewhere.

I backed up and deleted the camera sounds as KJRob said to me in another post. He also recommended the A Better Camera app. I can run the camera silently with ABC, but I prefer the stock camera for panoramic photos, 1080p video, and social use (it's easier to use for someone else that doesn't own a current LG Android phone).

As for Link2SD, you'd have to contact the dev directly to see if he would allow the app to be packed with a ROM. I'd bet he would allow the free version to be included, but still expect payment for the Plus add-on (which is fair to me).

Umm, yah, we got custom recovery! :) CWMT by gherkaul is the best one for this phone, because of its compatibility with V5 and V6 system software.

+1 for KitKat on the F3. I have that running once again on my LG Optimus V now that I have it optimized to taste(thanks, bigsupersquid)! :D
