Root [Virgin Mobile/Sprint] rooted or not?

Hey guys, low-tech person here. I have the lg optimus f3, had it rooted in version 7. I updated to version 8 because i got sick of hitting the ignore button on the prompt every 5 minutes. Now my apps requiring root wont work, and when i open stumproot it thinks my phone is already rooted. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
 
You need to re-root unfortunately. I'd suggest doing the unbrick method for our device and then get Our custom ROM AdvancedStock7.
