Root [Virgin Mobile/Sprint] Tethering to Xbox 360

So my buddy has it set up on his Kyocera Hydro to tether to his Xbox and it works pretty well with the signal he gets. That's on the boost network though.

Can anyone explain how to set up wifi tether for root users or barnacle on this phone to tether correctly to Xbox?

I can't get it to see the network even, and both apps come up with errors that I've never seem before. Long complicated ones.

You must be rooted and you have to have these 2 apps installed.

The second is called wireless tether for root users version 2.0.7 works great. You will have to google that one. Install both apps but don't run them. When both installed open the first one then open the second. Your password is your number.

It will say there's errors but it still works... Been using this method for over a month now.
