Root [Virgin Mobile] Stable Galaxy Victory ROM ??? (virgin mobile)

Rooted but still searching for a stable Rom.

I Read through some posts but nothing worthy... this is my primary/daily use phone and won't risk a brick.

I'm a noob, previous rooted LG optimus v, had success with many roms... loved the Bobzhome's

Any suggestions?

Cm10 is really stable aside from reboots on weak wifi and there is no camera at the moment. Victorious is a deodexed and optimized rom. The vaevictus kernel (also packed with victorious) is uncapped to 1.8 ghz processing. (putting at 1.5 is recommended as it is usually more stable.)

Like whitey said, CM10 is stable aside from WiFi. You won't brick your phone installing it or Victorious. Worst case scenario is a boot loop from a bad download or user error during install.

Can't go wrong with either, and they're currently the only two options. Try em both and see what tickles yer fancy.

For Sprint there's 4G. I've actually installed the VM version of CM on my Sprint, over a stock setup and I still get 4G. Either way I'm sure they'll work it out soon.

Speaking of they, I know g60 and chairshot have other homes, but anyone seen Jerry around here recently?

He was posting daily until a few weeks ago. Hopefully he just got busy with work and still holds a special place in his heart for the victory.

And yeah, while I don't care about Bluetooth and SMS & 4g don't work for me (SMS I may have borked myself, I couldn't resist the siren song of deleting random apps with Ti if they weren't essential for booting/data/phone. Oops?) still runs beautifully as a daily driver phone.

SMS on CM10 is fine, MMS doesn't work though. Bluetooth, 4G, (stable) wifi, camera, and GPS don't work. Generally, a lot of the parts that make the additional sensors in a smartphone functional.

I've got backups of stock MG5 which is the only time my MMS has worked. Point me in the direction to retrieve the APN settings, and I'll load that backup and pull them down for us. I'd love to have picture messaging back...

Then apnxml file had a empty field in it hope thats.what tripped it up go cm building now with edited xml so we will see ill flash it when I get home and let ya know
Empty field was in vm line so maybe thats it

Thanks for all the feedback... I am not unhappy with the stock ROM which is better than previous VM's... just looking to flash a new ROM to for obvious improvements.

I've removed the useless stock apps and crappy boot animation / sound for now & will keep checking the forums for stable and fully functional ROMs.
