Help [VIRGIN MOBILE] Storage Space

This should be the 16 GB version. Off the bat, it says there's about 12 GB available. Is it really reserving / using the other 4 GB? Also, anyone think VM will introduce an S3 with more capacity at some point?
 
Well Samsung and VM has bloatware on the phone off the bat, you should expect that. Four gigabytes out of sixteen isn't bad, even though in the past 4GB was a big number.

I don't know the exact number since I don't have the phone with me, but the bloat apps weren't taking up that much space from what I could see. Maybe it's not horrible, but when I buy a device with X amount of space advertised, sure I expect it to be a little bit less in actuality, but I want most of it available.
