Root [Virgin Mobile] system up.

379.4 MB update, was wondering if I needed/should take the update.

Probably it's the 4.4.2 update. Some folks have updated (I did) and some folks didn't. If you have Knox already then it's almost a no-brainer to do the update. But if you are trying to avoid Knox then you do not want the update.
 
Being you posted this in the all things root forum, it is safe to assume you are on a custom recovery. In order for you to install you will need to download the tar version and flash with Odin. You can then reinstall your recovery and re-root.

It should also be noted virgin mobile sent out a message saying to do a factory reset after the update, if you don't you will have problems.
 
Hi, is there a way to stop the update from coming up on my phone, I'm rooted with MK5 stock and like the way my phone works. But the OTA keeps coming back whether I choose to install it or not. It's irritating ...
