Root [Virgin Mobile] Tethering and Hotspot SHinanigans + Cute Pony

Dear Internet Guys, Hi.



Tomorrow I will be getting my Galaxy S3. I could have gotten it on Saturday but the darn mailroom was closed


Any who, I have a few questions.



Let me start by saying I do know how to root my phone. (Saferoot but now moved to towelroot because that is even easier and more safe.)



Yeah, super pro here guys lol.



So I know you can do all of these fancy things with rooting and flashing and all this magical stuff.



Yeah, I could care less about all of that. I am a gamer by heart. All I want to know is what is the best way to turn my galasy s3 into a hotspot. I don

simple way is to flash nd8 rom and then the tochwiz ikernel, then hotspot mod, apn patch, set ro.securestorage.knox in build.prop to false. same rom, but sprint version(nd8) while ndc is vmu, what i did.
make sure to use the lastest philz recovery, clean install method

Just get "WiFi tether router" app from play store. That's the easiest. Its verified working. It costs like 3 bucks. The way mentioned by comps works as well. It enables the native (built in) tethering without having to use an app. It is also a little more involved and for more advanced users.
