Root [Virgin Mobile] USb tether

Is there any app out that works like the wifi tether(https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.googlecode.android.wifi.tether) where it bypasses the VM's tether and goes to the systems (I think) so we don't have to pay the fee ,but with usb?

I used this way back in the Optimus V days and it worked pretty well. The free version works, but it has some restrictions that causes certain things or websites to not load though... You might want to look for other apps that are free, but I'm just suggesting what I had luck with.
