Root [Virgin Mobile] Using ART runtime on CM11?

I'm running the 2014-02-17 nightly of CM11, and I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with switching over to the ART runtime. I've heard from some people that it can cause bootloops on some versions of CM, but nobody was really sure when they were fixed.

Any advice would be awesome, thanks!

ART is still in experimental mode. I believe the only devices that can run ART flawlessly are Nexus devices, possibly Moto devices and Google Play Devices as well.

My experience is that it takes forever to set the phone to ART. I've had serious lag because of it. Even had reboots. I've also had my phone kick it back to Dalvik after a couple of reboots.

When Android L comes along, ART will be the only option. I'm really hoping the GS3s will be able to run it. But as far as trying to run ART now, I don't think we successfully can.

When I tried the ART runtime, everything was mostly better (better bat life and overall performance) but there are quite a few apps that do not like ART over dalvik, so they simply will FC whenever you attempt to run them. So it is a mixed bag. Best bet, just convert over one night and see what you think.

I have it on my Nexus 5 and no problems except with one app (had to change it). But I am afraid to try it on the OPO, last thing I want are random reboots or worse, lol. :what:
