Root [Virgin Mobile] VM Galaxy S III - Android 4.3 Confirmed

I am in Texas which is kind of a Sprint stronghold, and nothing yet.

It's not necessarily your location. It's a server issue, and they roll it out at random to keep their servers clean.

Idk. I'm still waiting. -.- and well whoever the OP was I beleive he wouldnt ONLY because they do point out that Virgin Mobile's new Galaxy S3's are all updated with Android 4.3. Either Virgin Mobile is taking their sweet little to or there's a problem with the servers.

I asked on Virgin Mobile's Facebook and the response I received was
Starting 11/22/13 the software update became available for the Samsung Galaxy S III.

I just downloaded this, now im gonna try flashing it. Hopefully this works!!
Also, Im completely stock and unrooted and ill be flashing this through stock recovery

All I can say is WOW!! Everything went smoothly. I put the file on my sd card, went into recovery, applied the update, and everything works perfectly.

As far as I know, you'll just have to sit tight until Punk gets it tweaked to flash on a custom recovery.

No it MUST be flashed by the stock recovery

Put it on the root if your EXT SD card. Go into stock recovery, look for the file then flash it.. If u backed up your ROM before u rooted it you should be able to back it up and still have stock recovery.. That's what I did but they're also saying through kies. Idk what that is exactly...

Hook your phone up to your computer. Start kies, and choose "Firmware Upgrade and Initilisation" under Tools. It will wipe your data, photos, apps, etc. and restore to build MG2. Then, you'll officially have stock recovery.
