Hi All,
Hoping someone might have an explanation of a malware or virus that may have infected my phone, it's not one I've seen before. So last night prior to going to sleep I left my wifi connected and had a facebook tab open in chrome and countless apps running in the background and I locked it. I woke up in the morning and realised my alarm didn't go off. Picked up my phone and instead of the lock screen it had a different lock screen that said something along the lines of "Malware detected click here to resolve" type ad (sidenote: I had no antivirus/antimalware installed on my phone) with slide to unlock at the bottom. Was half asleep so don't remember much of it.
Immediately turned off my phone with the side button and when it started up I put it in flight mode, though it looked completely normal. I changed all of my passwords then just did a factory reset because I didn't want to risk anything but as a result I have no clue what caused it or where it probably came from. Any ideas?
