I had an iphone 6. I just got the galaxy s7 edge. I've heard that these phones can get viruses. is it true, or are these people just bluffing? need a heads up please.

As long as you don't install apps from places other than the Play Store, you should be fine...

Play Store scans for virus's with in the apps. So you will be fine as long as you stick with the Play Store. It's when you down load apps from 3rd party sites that you can get a virus. IMO anti virus apps just take up space and slow down your phones performance. Just stick with the Play Store for Apps.
