Visibility outside

Just downloaded an app for golf (GPS) but when I go outside it is useless on my galaxy SII because I can't see the screen. Anything I can do so it is Visibility in the sunlight
 
screen briightness is full still can't see it in the sunlight. Golf app not much good if you can't see it.
