Help Visual enhancements?

Hi. I bought LG G3 D724 because of reviews, and then actually tried to use it, and its OS is so damn ugly. All the icons, fonts, everything is just repulsive. What can I do to change this?

I know you can download various launchers, and it does make everything somewhat better, but a lot of things are still horrible. Are there other things I could do?

If you're willing to root it you could change the font or even put a custom rom on it which will completely change the UI and let you theme it.
Without root you're left with, as you say, using a custom launcher, icon packs etc
