Help Visual Voicemail (MetroPCS) and changing phones.

If one has many Visual Voicemails, and then changes phones but keeps the same phone number and stays on MetroPCS, will all the Visual Voicemails re-appear when launching the VV app?

I think of you archive them. But I'm not sure but I'm not on metro. On sprint I can archive them and have then saved on sprint's servers

It should keep them in the system and when you get the new phone, the existing voicemails "should" sync back when you set up the voicemail.

Still, you should back them up on your sd card just to be careful.

Thank you!

So that means saving each and every one individually, right? Or there an app which will do all of them automatically?

I think the folder might be named "VVM" or something. I am not real sure.

Also, how old are your voicemails. Some compaines have a policy that they delete them after 30 days. Check w/MetroPCS.

The VVM's go back over a year!, Where to find that folder? I was told that the VVMs do NOT reside on the phone.

Sorry I don't know. I have no knowledge of where they might be on the phone. I was just guessing.

EDIT: Check the MetroPCS vvm app. See if you can save them to your sd card.
