Press your phone'smenu button to choose the Settings, then look for the "AAccessibility" section in the Settings and turn "Talk back to Off. Then restart the phone.
Did you just install an application and if so which one was it?
Unfortunately that didn't solve it. Any other suggestions? The only thing I can think of is in my 'Music Store' I deleted the 'Samsung - Over the horizon' song that was pre-loaded in there, and the problem started after that - surely a coincedence though?
