VLC "verbose"?

In VLC app settings> advanced> under developer there's "Verbose" and it's enabled/checked, what is this settings? do I need it or should I disable/uncheck it?

i would not worry about it. it has to do with logcat for the app. basically it shows commands that the app is running.

and verbosity means:

in other words in logcat, it will show more commands pertaining to the vlc app as it runs on your device.

it is toggled on as default. i would leave as is.
