hi everyone, i've a prob with vlingo incare and sending textmessage, so i say to vlingo text mom then my message, he understands, then he asks me cancel, send or repeat, I say send to send the message but he don't understand and juste change my message by "send" ^^

what can i do ?

I have tried absolutely everything to solve for this except for upgrading my bluetooth to one that has A2DP. I was just about to start a Vlingo thred because I believe it's the best voice command app out right now and you're the first person on all message boards to have put this out there...

In regards to your specific issue it may be your headset. I have a Plantronics Voyager Pro, not the Voyager Pro+. Of course the main difference is A2DP. I will be upgrading soon to see if this solves my issues, maybe if you can confirm if your bluetooth has A2DP and it's still not working I would like to know, then it's a glitch in the app. Anyone else have any feedback?

Here are my other issues with Vlingo that I'd like to get feedback on...

- I want an "incar" app that allows me to make calls, and send/hear texts without having to actually touch the phone. The old Froyo software worked flawlessly for phone calls and I can't seem to get that back with my SGS2 Epic Touch.

- I have the feature turned on that says "launch on bluetooth" and use the wake up of "hey vlingo" to have vlingo listen. This works well at first but after making one command, i.e. "Text" it'll say "who do you want to text" but it won't start listening! I have to say "hey vlingo" to turn the microphone back on, then I can say "michele". Annoying!

- Another issue is after I say HeyVlingo there's no acknowledgement that it's started to litsen to me. I have the main prompt set to "speak" but it doesn't say "speak", I have to look at the phone to ensure it's listening or just trust the software, which clearly I don't yet.

- Last issue I'll bring up is the VOLUME. No matter how many times I use InCar and turn volume up it keeps defaulting back to approximately 30% next time I turn it on, which is USELESS on any bluetooth, even one as good as my voyager pro.

If these items can be fixed I think this would be a strong software.

I would also prefer to hold down the "call" button on my bluetooth for 2-3 seconds to activate vlingo like froyo used to work. When i try it on my SGS2 it activated Voice Talk (samsung's version of vlingo which is garbage) so I can't use that at all, I have to use "hey vlingo" to stay hands free.

Does anyone know if ICS will have voice command technology that will override the Voice Talk and VoiceCommand features on Samsung's new phone lineup? I know it's supposed to have new voice controls but will it override Samsung's is the key question I'm worried about. Because if not Samsung may subdue the ICS controls to force their garbage app onto its users.

Sorry for the rant to what seemed like a simple question but this and the GPS have been my two main gripes with SGS2. I've fixed the GPS for the most part (still not as good as my EVO's GPS, but functioning). Now I need to figure out this voice command issue...

UPDATE 6/3/12 - The volume issue is now fixed. Not sure what I did but the volume is loud like I left it. Maybe because I haven't used Fast Reboot (another good app) to kill the app it's remembering the last setting...

Please thank me if this is helping you at all or this is a thread you also need help on...please tag on and say you're having these problems or not...
