Help Vodafone SGS 2.2 update Question

I've heard the update is out and a friend wants his updated but I've never updated via kies as I usually use odin, does the update via kies wipe the internal sd card?

If so can anyone recommend a good free program to back everything up?

No it doesn't wipe the internal memory!

It is recommended you do a factory reset on the phone before updating your firmware though!

Download "My Backup Pro" from the market & back up all your apps & data. then do a factory reset, the run the upgrade & reinstall your apps & data afterwards using "My Backup Pro"
