Vodafone Update

Just downloaded the OTA update for the Sensation from Vodafone. So far it seems to have fixed the two most annoying problems with the phone.

1) The wifi dropping too easily. Before I could only hold a wifi signal if I was in the same room as my router. Now it holds onto the signal anywhere in the house like the rest of my gadgets.

2) The xvid problem seems to be fixed and using both the default Gallery player and Moboplayer seems to play videos fine now.

So all in all a good update. Not found any new bugs. I could have lived with 2) but 1) was practically a showstopper.

Just updated...it also fixed the contacts issue whereby you could only enter US zip codes in the address field and not a UK post code.

One other just found...the show me app now has videos..I hadn't noticed this.before tonight...

Did you see any weirdness with the Market or widgets not working after the update?

Nope. So far so good. Not seeing any issues at all. Even the weird one where the numbers went mad when going into uninstall an application has gone. I used to go in, the numbers all spun around like something out of "Lost". I'd have to hit previous then go back again and it'd work.

I'll keep fiddling.
