Vodaphone or Motorola

Has anyone else noticed that our phone is listed as a Vodaphone in the Play Store? Why is that?

When I go to my devices and change it's name, the carrier is listed as Vodaphone not Verizon. Thoughts?

Mine is listed as "Droid Maxx". Though in the past I have seen it listed as "XT1080M". I don't ever recall seeing Vodafone, though.

In the devices listing, my phone's carrier is Verizon.

I suppose that you could try going into settings->apps, find Google Play Store, tap it and then tap "clear data" (or "uninstall updates" if "clear data" doesn't work). Go back into Play Store, accept the terms, update or install something, and see if it changes in the Play Store settings.

Nope. Just stayed here in good 'ole Cincinnati USA.

So maybe this is it Vodaphone IS Verizon Wireless until they are not anymore . . .

Maybe that is why my phone says Vodaphone on it. Once Verizon pays up and buys back all of the stock then my phone will say Verizon.
