Voice button on keyboard?

Is there supposed to be a voice button on the standard keyboard? I have an Xperia Arc. No voice button. Trying to get speech > note application.

There usually is a little microphone icon; maybe check with the Xperia Arc forum as others may have the same issue?

the swift key keyboard has voice use. However, my standard android keyboard does too.

I have an Asian version. Seems like the voice button has been removed from the stock keyboard. I have tried Swiftkey as well Keyboard from Android. Both have the voice button. Now I just need to pick one .
