Voice Dialer "Stopped Unexpectedly"

Running 1.5 (just updated automatically last night) and this is the first time trying Voice Dialer since update...

I get the following message:

"Sorry!"
"The Application Voice Dialer (process com.android.voicedialer) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again."
"Force Close" (this is a selectable button)

Anyone have any tips as to how to fix this?

I am certain that this is an OS problem for ANDROID AND GOOGLE... and it's apparent that Google is NOT RESPONDING TO ANYONE about it. If you sync with Google's gmail server, your Voice Dialer DIES.
"The application Voice Dialer (process com.android.voicedialer) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again."

Google's Android section will take NO CALLS and no one offers any help or word about 'working on it'.

Perhaps the future will be better, but Android's past and present suck.

i have had the same prblem but solved it

you need to download and install this and then its all done

install to your android phone

do you download to pc or laptop and then copy to droid via usb or download directly to android? I tried connecting to hotfile website on motorola droid but couldn't see how I get to the same download of the file you suggest as opposed to when I just clicked on the link in your message from my laptop
