Help Voice dialing & car mode

I had an old Sony Ericsson K800i that had voice dialing through bluetooth device when in car mode. Is there an app for this for my DHD, or is new technology not as good as old, find this quite poor really....

I've got Google Voice Search installed on my phone - I just do a long press on the Search button and up it pops. It needs a data connection and, in my experience, can be a bit temperamental. The other similar app that seems to be highly regarded and is also free is Vlingo. Links for both are given below.

I have tried all of the Vlingo type apps, all can be a bit of a pain. I now use 'voice speed dial' which I have found to be the best of a poor bunch. My old Nokia had such good built in voice dial and auto answer, its a shame the Desire HD lacks this
