Help Voice Dialing

Anyone experiencing trouble with this. When I say a contacts name the options given are way out. Also I thought the voice dialling feature would say back what it thought you said.

this may sound like a relatively stupid suggestion, but do you say "dial" or "call" before the name

my calling results became much more predictable when it occurred to me to do as the screen indicated - sometimes i leave the light switch in the "off" postion

just a suggestion
