I have a bit of a complex question so please bear with me.
I have a Droid X with verizon and I have an exchange account associated to it for my work emails. When I go into the default email app and send or reply to an email I can hit attach and I have a long list of items I can attach. One of the the options says "Sound Recorder". If I select it I'm brought to a very basic sound recording screen. I record whatever I need to, press stop and select "Use This Recording". I'm then brought back to email where the voice file is automatically attached.
Now, that being said, I'm working with a Verizon Samsung Galaxy Tab that my boss would like to have that same workflow on. Problem is that the default mail program on the tablet seems to be different than what I have on my Droid X and he's not pleased.
I've done a lot of looking around and I can find apps that somewhat do what I'm looking for. The key part is that I need to be able to initiate the recording from the email app and then be brought back and have the file attached automatically.
Does anybody know how to make this happen?
