Help Voice input on keyboard doesn't work

I use speaktoit for my voice commands. But in the (stock) keyboard I'd still like to be able to use voice input. When I click the microphone button on the keyboard, nothing happens. Any ideas?,

Do you mean nothing happens as if you never touched it or it just pops up and doesn't work?

Hmm, I tried installing speaktoit to see if I could reproduce this, but after installing it and using it a bit, I was able to go into the messaging app and hit the microphone as usual.

If you go into Settings -> Language and Input, is Google voice typing checked?

If you uninstall speaktoit, does the microphone then work? If so, try reinstalling the app and see if it stops working again. If so, I'd contact the developer.

Well, after a reboot, seems to work fine. Weird, hopefully just a fluke.

And yeah, nothing at all would happen. I'd touch the key, and it wouldn't even pop up the prompt.

I'm glad the reboot worked. I never had an issue with the two working together.

I should've tried the reboot before posting. But I guess it's good to have a record of it in case it happens to anyone else.
