Root Voice mail dials old phone number

I have read some of the other threads but can't make out a solution. When I get a missed call that went to voicemail notification and I click on it, it dials the number that came with my phone. (I transferred my cell number after purchase).
Dials that same number from the speed dial. I now use a contact called voicemail to dial my own number and check vmail, but I'm missing calls and getting notifications for the wrong number. CTMod, Kouma Kernal, Galaxy Prevail.

I'm job hunting and really need my phone to work smoothly. Thanks

(this is for cm7 other roms have the option too, but it might not be exactly that, should still be in call settings tho)

I have the CTMod with Kouma Kernel on Galaxy Prevail. Now I'm not altogether sure what all that means, except that I have no settings for vmail. Not Under menu>settings>call settings nor menu>settings>CTMod settings. Thanks for your help anyway.

You might have to reset your phone. Somehow the old number stayed.

To reset your phone ##786#, reset, put in your MSL. Word of warning though. CTMod might not be able to do OTA activation, so you'll have to revert to stock and reset and then back to CTMod.

Make backup and restore backup. Hope your old voicemail number doesn't come back with the backup...
