Voice Navigation

Lurker
I just bought a HTC droid and i was wondering if you can use the voice search for navigational purposes like the Motorola can? Everytime i speak into the voice search and say "navigate to ...." it always brings me to google whereas the Motorola will bring up directions.

thats hot for the motorola one...but the eris cannot do that yet...
sometime in january hopefully...UNLESS WE GET ROOTED!!! :)

In Google maps you can go into menu, press search, and then press the microphone symbol, say the address and it will show on the map, then in the menu press directions and you will get turn by turn directions from your current location.

Another "neat" feature is the ability to see a street view (actual picture) of the destination. However, it is not available for all locations.
