Voice on Copilot Live 8 HTC hero

This is my first post... so hello:)

My Copilot worked great until I installed Quick profiles last night.

Quick profiles is working great and doing what I want it to do but I have lost the voice guidance on my sat nav. It still gives me the notification beeps of speed cameras but just not guidance.

I have checked all my settings and everything looks OK.

Can anyone point me in the right direction for something I am missing.

Had this problem it was downloading voices but never giving the option to test nor would it speak during navigation and doing the following fixed mine.. (this anomaly started after an update.)

Link phone upto computer and mount as drive

Go to the co pilot directory

open up in text editor the config file

Scroll down to where the drive paths are

(On mine for some reason the voice file path was in its own group from the rest) I copied that path into the standard group of paths above.

Save - disconnect I turned off phone but that maybe a stage to much but felt it potentially was better to do so - turned on fired up co-pilot and all was good again.

Thank you. I would never have managed to get my voices working without you. Mine stopped after a speed camera update. Don't know why, but it must be something to do with the update.

Mine has just done this too. It happened before and I simply rebooted the phone.

can some one pin point the conifg file and what I have to change?
I can see copilot->uiconfig and then 2 files uiconfig.dat & .idx but not sure if these are the right files, and what i have to change anyway.
