Voice recorder

I am wondering which one is good. I have a Droid and my wife has the Eris. I don't care if I have to pay for an app, I just want one that works to record a conversation, lecture, etc. It is more important that it works on the Eris. I am just looking for some advice before I download a ton of apps and waste an entire day!

I probably shouldn't be responding to this as I really haven't used any recording apps for my Droid yet but one that I've seen a lot and heard good things about is Voice Recorder by Mamoru Tokashiki. If you haven't tried it out, I think it'd be a good one to do so. Let me know what you think of it!

The best I have used is called "Rehearsal Assistant." It is free and has great sound clarity. You can create uncompressed wav files, send to email, add text labels, and open with Ringdroid to make custom ringtones. There is a widget available for the program (that if I remember cost me about $1.00 - called "Sound Recorder Widget") that allows easy access from my homescreen. I have tried most of the other recorders and always return to this one.
