Help Voice searching contacts?

I am not a moron. (I hope.)

Just sync'ed up my contacts into my Droid.

Suppose I want to call my friend Tammy. I type "Tammy" into the google search box and her contact info (with phone number) pops up as one of my options.

Suppose I want to do the same thing by voice. I hit the voice search button and say "Tammy." The Droid offers up a contact of "Tammy" as an option, but says "Add number" (instead of her number) underneath her name. If I hit the contact, I get a "Contact does not exist" pop-up.

It knows all my contacts are there if I google search them by typing, but doesn't seem to find them if I google search by voice.

What am I doing wrong here?
