Perhaps I'm missing something, but for those of us whose last names are not "Smith," "Jones," or "Johnson," voice dialing really does not work very well. If I try saying "Call [wife's name] mobile" I get about 15 options, and her name is about the twelfth. So it would seem to me to be a no-brainer that the system would allow me to create voice shortcuts. That is, have a local image of, for example, "Call Laura Mobile," which would be assigned to calling the mobile number for Laura Krysynzski. The system would check the shortcuts for a match before running off to scan the address book. This would make voice dialing (especially while driving, where you do not want to have to pick from 15 options manually) actually *useful*.
Or am I just missing something really basic here?
