Voice Text "Kama"

Recently, the google voice texting started typing "kama" instead of a "," when I am dictating. I don't know why it's suddenly doing this, but I'd love it to stop. Anyone have an idea how???

yes! You are totally right on the kama thing. I thought that I had programmed it into my voice but it seems like that is not the case and its just a stupid Google update error. Anybody else have a solution or any input on this? It is literally driving me nuts!

It's happening to me too. Drives me crazy. Wish there was a way to get rid of it. I wonder if we can clear the local cache/data of the "Text to speech" engine if that would help?

Me too, just started within the last month or so?

There's a "Voice Control" app by a guy named Luka Kama, you don't suppose that could be related... :D

Glad I'm not the only one at least. Unfortunately, clearing the data didn't help. Tried clearing SwiftKey too, but it's clearly a Google issue.

Some of you don't have a location in your profile, so it's hard to say, but my first guess would be that it's a regional accent issue. Are any of you now or formerly from New England or Wisconsin?

I've been running into the same problem recently and FREQUENTLY, it is really annoying and I'd love to know how to delete "kama" from the built-in dictionary (it is not in my user dictionary). I don't make a habit of dictating (Estonian food, Japanese weaponry or tea ceremonies, or sanskrit phrases), so why is it suddenly picking kama over ","?
