I want to reply to various emails (not necessarily contacts) by speaking the reply message, converting it to text and sending the reply. What app do I need?

Hi Ted and welcome to Android Forums!
I guess the first question I have is what version of Android are you using? Most recent Android keyboards have text-to-speech built in, with a microphone icon in the lower left corner of the keyboard. SwiftKey 3 and Flow also have text-to-speech... just long-press the comma button to get to the microphone.
Assistants like Robin and SpeakToIt will easily take your command "Text Mark I will be there in five minutes" into a text message to Mark.
Hope this helps and it's great to have you here

Thank you for your kind reply. It looks like I am using version 2.3.3. There is no microphone on my email account. I do have one on Google search. I would like to have the same capability to reply to e-mails. Most apps require you to have a contact in your phone. I would like an app which just replies to an e-mail message from anyone who sends me an e-mail, not just those on my contact list.
Thank you, for your help,
Ted

Hi Ted. We have an area where we discuss and suggest apps that might be a great place for you to ask. Here is a link to that area: Android Applications - Android Forums The knowledgeable members in there might well know a great app for what you are wanting to do. Best of luck and thanks for joining the community.
