Help Voice To Text

On my previous phone, HTC EVO, I really liked using the feature where you could talk and it would translate it to text when using messaging, texts or emails. This phone seems to have the same options but I can't get the speaker icon to show up on the keyboard even after going through all the settings.

Tech support was clueless. The only way I can use it is by pulling down the keyboard option from the notification area and switching to voice input but even that long process doesn't stick.

Anyone else having this issue?

Never mind, figured it out. You need to press and hold the button 'till it changes.
