voice to text

[Plonk]

When I first got my phone, the keyboard had the option of speech to text.
I had to reset my phone and now the option with the little microphone in the settings button on the keyboard has completely disappeared.
I have tried reseting the keyboard etc but its just not comming back up.
And advice would be much appreciated!

I can tell you where the setting is for my phone, but not sure that's where it will be on your phone (you don't have that info filled out, so I cannot see it);

Settings > Language & Input > Google Keyboard > Voice Input Key - On Main Keyboard/On Symbols Keyboard/Off

Thanks for the reply
When I first got the phone it had the google keyboard option but when I reset it, it had disappeared.
I just downloaded again from the play store but it seemed to be a totally different keyboard to the original one.
was the keyboard inbuilt with the phone?
