Help Voicemail app?

I'm on Virgin Mobile.

The pre-installed voicemail app was hassling me to install an update so I did. It wants you to try some "Premium" service free for a month. So I uninstalled the update. Now it is hassling me again with a notification.

If I uninstall the "Voicemail" app does that mean I won't have voice mail?

Or is that just some "add-on" and if I uninstall it I'll still have some default Virgin Mobile/Sprint voice mail?

The app is just a visual voicemail app. Which allows you to check voice mail on data and see it printed out. If uninstalled or disabled you can still dial your number and get the normal voice mail.

Looked at uninstalling it tonight, but it doesn't have that option an the Disable button is grayed out. So the best I could do was turn off notification and hide it in the apps.

I installed the update without having to try any premium service, I'm pretty sure there is an option to just use it's free features.
