I have two issues with voicemail on my Android phone.
1) I use Google Voice. However, when people call my old/original number, it goes to AT&T's standard voicemail box. Only calls to my Google Voice number go to my Google Voice mailbox. I have it set up so Google Voice is the default voicemail in the settings, so it should redirect all calls there. I even dialed the special voicemail number GV provides: *004*googlevoicenumber#
2) This leads to my second problem. Whenever I get a voicemail message, I get the little voicemail notification icon in the top status bar. However, there is no way to clear that unless I change the voicemail settings of phone and call my old voicemail number.
Is there anyway to fix these two issues?
