Help VoiceMail password not accepted in call settings?

Rafael

Android Enthusiast
I just got my Commando and almost everything seems to be working properly.

The exception is the VoiceMail password feature in Call Settings.

On my Droid, in "Call Settings"/"Voicemail Settings"/"Voicemail number" you could enter "*86,,1234" and when you call to check messages it would dial *86, then it would pause twice, then it would automatically enter your password "1234" in this case.

On the Commando, if I enter anything more than "*86", I get the following message: "Call Setting Error: Voicemail number change unsuccessful. Please contact your carrier if this problem persists."

Anyone found a solution?
