Please help. My new S3 only rings for 15 seconds then goes off to voicemail. This is far too short. Any previous phone I had always rang to 30 seconds then off to voicemail. I don't have a clue how to change it to 30 seconds. It was so easy on my old Sensation but the same setting isn't on my S3.

Do you use verizons voicemail service? I haven't in years (googlevoice rocks), but I remember that setting your speaking of being in the menu options in the actual voicemail. Like you have to call your number and listen to the prompts and get into the settings. It used to be that way idk about now-a-days

Sorry, I am 02 UK network. What is Google Voice?

Loads of help on here.

Don't assume that because you don't immediately get 10 responses that your issue hasn't been noticed. I think 15 seconds is long enough for most folks & therefore very few people have had a reason to try & change the default setting. I'd like to help, but it's just not something I've ever tried to do, but I would guess it is something that might need to be set through your carrier.

no unless your carrier added that setting there is not default setting on the phone for how long before the voicemail answers.

I have no clue what google voice now is but im sure i can find out in 2 seconds with google.

there is lots of help on these forums sometimes you have to be patient for an answer or accept that nobody knows the answer to the questions asked.

IMHO i would never listen to a phone ring for 30 seconds before hanging up so mabye just cancel your voicemail and save a few $
