Nope ur not blind. I had to call customer care to set mine up since i'm so used to visual VM from my iphone 3g.... bummer lolPhone doesn't come with a visual voicemail app installed?? Or am I blind???
I was disappointed too, I don't know how to work normal voicemail! I went and there is an app for it that's pretty cool, it's called YouMail. It works by forwarding your calls to their voicemail system when they go unanswered. It's pretty nifty, but I never get voicemails anyway so what do I care? XD
I tried it on my last phone and hated it and went back to the app that came on the phone.

AT&T Messages is a free app that is available that can do Visual Voicemail. I tried it on my Captivate and it worked fairly well. I just didn't like how it grouped ALL messages (text & voicemail) in one place. It was a little cluttered for me, but some people do like it. It was very painless to set up & remove.

I tried AT&T's and didn't like it. I'm trying Google's now and will see how that goes. Is there not a simple notification app that is just like the missed call and text messages for when you hit your power button you'll see the notification and you swipe in the direction it tells you to? Maybe this is what Google's Voice will do. I just need to get a voicemail to test it out.
