I just downloaded the VoiceTask app onto my Cliq today. I'll test it a few days and see how it holds up.

I have had trouble finding a good, simple voice recording app that can start up with a single touch off the main screen, can record a LOT of audio (hours, not minutes) in a pinch, will record in standard formats that are easily playable on a PC (mp3, ogg, etc.) and not only Android-specific or esoteric audio formats, with a decent user interface, etc. I'll let you know what I find out.

(Sorry for not including more details. :o ) I can open the app and record voice memos, no problem. But it Force Closes instantly when trying to record a call. Just like every other call recording app I've tried.
 
It is not possible to record a call for now. See:

But the thing is, that application shouldn't FC when the user try to record a call. Hmmm.. Maybe the best solution is to open a dialog and tell the user, that recording of call isn't possible.

Nice idea ... if it worked. Records fine, email doesn't send. Too bad, nice idea, I'd pay a bit for the app if it would actually send the audio file via email.
 
Would you please provide more data related to problem... What message do you get?

In generally application works as there is more than 10000 satisfied users already....
 
Is this different from the GMail recording app that Google provides? If so, what features do you have that the other app doesn't? I'm trying to decide between the two.
