Root Volume boost

Hey so I'm going to a festival tomorrow and would quite like to have louder music if possible. I know there are apps and hacks about to do this but I've had a quick search and they seem quite specific to certain makes/models. I've tried one off the market apps and as I thought, absolutely no difference. Has anyone had a way to increase the volume with a z1? I will mostly be using an external speaker but I think since updates etc the volume seems to be limited on any output. I have checked all the booster options in the phone. I'm using a rooted device so basically any app suggestion goes.

I've no personal experience with them, but give either of those a try.

You need a de-odexed ROM for the first by the looks of things, but if you're not on one, it's generally just a case of flashing a wee zip file in recovery and you're good to go.

What ROM are you on again? I'll see if I can find you a link.
 
Thanks. I don't know what rom I'm on anymore. I'll have a look a bit later if I can find out, I think it might be the same one you did your rooting guide on. Thanks.
