The Casio Smartphone Guru
Hey guys,
So i have a problem with the phone I bought from Ebay. (go figure) Half-way through the day today, my volume up, down, and gzone buttons stoped working. I am not sure why.
At first, I thought it was hardware. I opened up the phone and put in some really old volume buttons form one of my former phones. I could do this because all 3 buttons are on the same ziff connector/cable.The problem was not solved.
Then i thought it was software. I got an app called button savior pro, and it had virtual volume buttons. I tried to use them, and the volume software came up as normal.
I went as far as rebooting into recovery. The hardware buttons did not work there eithor.
My suspesion is that the software code for the volume and gzone rockers was corrupted. Could someone point out where the files for these are?
My second suspision is that the old hardware I tried may be broken as well. If someone has an old commando that would be willing to mail me the buttons?
It could also be the motherboard itself. Wouldn't be pressed if that was the case.
Thanks in advance.
