1st, I would do a power off, restart and see what happens.
If that don't help, make sure you backup up everything, and do a FDR...
painful, but it will restore it to stock.
A hint, if you are not using a custom Launcher, install Nova Launcher.
Then have it import the current Home Screens you are using now.
When it is installed, go to settings and have it save everything to the extSDcard.
Now, go into Settings again, and do a Backup of Homescreens. Save them to the SD card, AND you also want to save them to your personal email address... I have multiple backups saved in a special folder labeled NOVA Backups in my email account.
If you don't have a backup app installed, install SuperBackup. go thru the steps above, save to SD card, and then have it send all the backups to an external PC or hard drive, etc... worst case, connect the PC to the phone via the USB cable, and use the Windows Explorer to copy everything off the extSDcard to the PC.
IMO, you should remove the SD card before you do a FDR.... just insurance that something does not corrupt it. It has happened in these forums...
This paid off in dividends for me just last Monday.... somehow, during my sleep after a surgery, my inept fingers did something and zeroed out my phone.
Took about 15 minutes and it was all restored back like it was.
